We had a lovely brunch today, and, what a cool spot! Entering the Ryde Hotel felt like we stepped back in time to the Speakeasy days. The Sunday Buffet had a nice variety of foods and all were very well prepared. Our group also enjoyed the selection of desserts as well as the display--loved the cut glass cups! Staff were friendly and attentive taking care of our needs. One person was especially thoughtful to remove the used dishes from the table before he snapped our group photo. Everyone enjoyed the food and experience. It was well worth the drive!

I must admit that I have always been a fan of their deco inspired Continental Sunday Brunch fare. So this AM (only mildly hungover) we gave their New Year's Nosh a shot and it paid off. The classic items such as the Benedict and Brisket w/horseradish were savory and abundant. The standout items for us were The blintzes 10/10. The Lox Fish bagel station 10/10. The preseco grapes 10/10. My Austrian grandmother would have been proud and or jealous of the schnitzel. Thank you staff for being there to set up such a marvelous offering on the Morning of a heavy holiday.

We did not stay there, stopped by with friends for dinner. What a great night. The service was great, the food was perfect. We met Rafe, the site manager, what a great time and a wealth of information of the area and hotel. I would highly recommend this venue.

Enjoyed my stay at the historic Ryde Hotel, I came for a unique experience & got it. Was like a step back into time, with an amazingly beautiful dining room & original speakeasy downstairs from the 1920’s! Innkeeper Dara was very helpful & professional, giving me tour, telling me about the rich history & loaning me an Iphone charger when I forgot mine. My room (the Suite) was clean & ready, bed comfortable Some of it is still being renovated, so it’s not exactly upscale & it can be a bit creepy being the lone guest, but that’s what I came for. I even had what I think was a ghost visit!

The Ryde Hotel serves a traditional Thanksgiving dinner in November. The dinner was wonderful and very tasty. Turkey, prime rib, and ham was cooked just right as were all the other choices available. Parking was out front and bathrooms were available and clean. Thank you for a wonderful day.

Beautiful place, looking at the river. We stayed in Garden Cottage. It's big & had coffee maker, microwave & full size refrigerator. Had stove, didn't use. It's a very large room with a bar and barstools and a full dining table; 6 2 love seats and 3 couches! Unfortunately the king bed is surrounded by 3 walls, meaning 1 person would have to climb over the other person in order to get out. They made up a bed for me on couch, very comfy. In garden cottage wear slippers, as floor not perfectly clean, good advice for all hotels. Gorgeous garden filled with roses & peacocks.

Well let me tell you! First impression, beautiful! Second impression, WTH??? We arrived after speaking to someone on the phone after dinner was canceled (Got a BLAT from Al the Wop, yummy)to confirm we would be staying for the night, to an empty hotel, doors locked . We were traveling down river from Sacramento by boat, it's about 4:15, we were panicked! Well Tina called me back after I left a voicemail and texted, she was on her way. There was a roadblock in Rio Vista that delayed her. She gets to Ryde and gives us this very roomy room with a River view. We ended the night with cocktails and dinner from Al the Wop on the patio. With beautiful lighting. Slept like a baby. Woke up and had coffee on the same patio from night before while waiting for brunch. Well, let me tell you brunch did not disappoint, we ordered a champagne flight. Had brunch ended up back on the patio, finishing our champagne flight, And very much enjoying the whole experience. I don't know that we will stay there again, but will definitely be back for the yummy brunch. Tina and staff were amazing! Courteous and accommodating. Not to mention Betty the cat, who thinks she owns the place Champagne, LOL! Oh and a must see, a Speak Easy!

We had our wedding here and they did a fabulous job! The food was outstanding, they were so accommodating to our needs. The garden and ball room were perfect and beautiful. Tina and her crew were amazing! I highly recommend this as a wedding venue. The rooms aren't modern and need some sprucing up which I understand they are working on.
